A very few of us started meeting up to dance after Easter, so few that we spent time perfecting two couple dances; Hatfield House
was the trickiest. Members started returning as 2021 went on - and we even gained some new faces.
Not much dancing by anyone this year (2020). It was early in the year when we, like everyone everywhere, were hit by the virus fiasco.
As soon as we were allowed out we kept in touch by meeting up in the park for a weekly chat.
During the 2019 heatwave we enjoyed our last Friday evening dance before the summer break with Nigel Beaton as caller; where we stepped
outside for a cooling photo call. Again this year some of us donned our Playford costumes and attended the Playford Ball in Horsham Barn.
We also took part in the Southdowns Folk Festival which is held around the town of Bognor Regis every
September. We danced English dances (and one Welsh - see below) in the town centre, wearing our Old English costumes.
