We reached our 80th Anniversary in 2013 -
(like many 80year olds, sadly diminished in strength and vigour,
even though we have been trying to recruit new members to help us keep English dance traditions alive).
Some of us dressed up and went to a Playford
Ball in Horsham. We danced at a local fete hoping to encourage some joining-in.
At the 80th party Peter Hopkins was presented with an engraved tankard and thanked for his many years of dedication.
We celebrated the Queen's Diamond Jubilee with a party - Red, White and Blue or Royalty - with appropriate dances.
We also battled the wind at the Middleton fete, were joined by children and a pirate at the Bognor Birdman Rally, and supported Father Christmas.
