In 2007 we displayed our talents for the Middleton fete and GMTV as well as enjoying our regular meetings.
Members attended several balls at the Chichester Assembly Rooms this year and many dressed up for the occasion.
We joined forces with the children of the Bognor Regis International Dance Ensemble to provide some of the
entertainment at the Middleton Fete. Each group demonstrated some dances and then we joined together to show that people of
all ages can have fun together. The performance concluded with a joining in dance where everyone enjoyed themselves immensely.
The club made its television debut in August for "Keith's Campsite Capers" on GMTV breakfast television. As our invitation was at very short notice (during the summer break) only four members of the club were available and we were asked to display an easy dance, teach it to four holidaymakers and then judge which couple was the best. Sounds good but they wanted us to arrive at 6.30am to be sure we would be there - it was unbelievably cold for an August morning!
And of course we enjoyed our regular Friday evening meetings ending the year with our Christmas Party.
