Like butterflies from chrsalysis - we emerged from the underground - in bright colours - into the open.
This year we concentrated on dances from the Near East. These consisted of Armenian and Israeli dances, a few from Assyria, Turkey,
Greece and also some Laz and Kurdish.
Our folk festival in Bognor Regis resumed this year with plenty of events around the town. Saturday was very hot but Sunday brought showers, so
as luck would have it, we ended the weekend dancing in a pub again........

It was difficult to dance in 2020, but after the first lockdown we managed to dance appropriate dances in the garden during the
very hot summer. We also moved our regular Monday class back to the Willowhale Centre in the autumn.
