We started our 2019 displays at a local school, to show some English dances and encourage children and grown-ups to join in. We have
shown The Waterloo Dance, Sussex Cottage, The Hop Pickers Feast, The Alderman's Hat, Morning Rout, Hatfield House, and Grimstock this year.
At the Southdowns Folk Festival we also performed Bannilou Lambaoul, Changerais tu,
Jabadao, Bransle de Cosnay, La Louise and Bouree de Sarzay on the sea front and around the town, wearing Breton costumes.
We went to our local golf club early in 2018 to show an evening of dance and sample their delicious food; Spanish, Greek and Polish dances, costumes and traditional food.
Janet led a workshop for the Society for International Folk Dancing at Pulborough, and
others at a language school and clubs around Bognor.
This year, for the first time the weather was against us at the
Southdowns Folk Festival; we managed a few French dances (and a few poor photos) and went home damp and bedraggled.
Dancing La Bouree du Puy de Dome otherwise known as La Louise.
